If I see a chiropractor, will I always have to continue?
Just like exercise, chiropractic is a choice. There isn’t a point at which you should stop exercising. There are lifelong benefits to staying in shape, and the same is true for chiropractic. Some patients choose to see us when they’re in pain. Others understand that if they continue chiropractic care, their bodies won’t be as susceptible to pain and injury.
Why should I have my newborn or young child adjusted?
You’ve probably heard the saying ”As the twig is bent, so grows the tree.” It’s much easier to correct problems early in life and ensure fewer long-term effects than it is later on. As most moms know, the birth process is difficult. A baby can’t tell us if something doesn’t feel right, but labour and delivery are difficult for them, too. We can check to make sure their bodies are aligned starting directly after birth.
How much does chiropractic care cost? Does insurance cover visits?
You can ask about the fees for each of your visits. Most private insurances will cover some chiropractic care; however, you should check with your insurance company to see what your coverage is.
Will I get adjusted on my first visit?
It’s your decision whether you want to start care on your first visit. Once we’ve done the consultation and examination to determine if chiropractic is appropriate for you, we’re ready to start. It’s your choice whether you feel you would like to begin.
